    Yard to site

How a slab order becomes a dealer bill

Closing starts when dimensions are agreed. Dealer enters sizes, rate per sq ft builds the total, the truck leaves, and both sides keep a PDF that still shows the measurements.

    1. 1

      Agree the sizes

Length and width in feet+inches (or inch, cm, m). Odd cuts need the same numbers on paper that were measured in the yard.

    2. 2

      Add materials

Each product can hold multiple sizes. Marble flooring and granite countertop stay on separate products.

    3. 3

      Rate per sq ft

Sq ft calculates from dimensions × quantity. Line total follows rate. Hide rates when you need a size summary only.

    4. 4

      Preview before dispatch

Wrong inches are cheaper to fix before the truck leaves than after the site opens the slabs.

    5. 5

      Send with the load

Download the PDF for the contractor or homeowner. Share with the delivery so site and yard argue from the same numbers.

    6. 6

      Reopen if lost

Bill History keeps the same measurements for duplicates after dispatch.

    Where yard billing stalls

Slabs loaded. Measurements still only on a notepad.

Most marble PDFs here start when the material left the yard, but the only record of length × width is a handwritten slip that cannot settle a site dispute.

    Inch dispute after delivery

Site says 3 ft 7 in; yard remembers 3 ft 6 in. A bill with length, width, qty, and sq ft gives both sides the same figure.

    Still writing bills by hand

Dealers without yard software still need a PDF. Enter feet and inches here; sq ft calculates. No separate spreadsheet for every slab.

    Mixed materials on one trip

Marble for flooring and granite for counters on the same truck. Separate products keep rates and sizes from blending.

    Contractor lost the PDF

Reopen from Bill History and send the same measurements. Avoid rebuilding odd sizes from memory after dispatch.

    Who touches the bill

    Dealer yard, contractor, and site

One PDF clears the yard sale, travels with the truck, and later settles arguments about what was measured.

    Dealer yard

    • Enter dimensions and rates before dispatch
    • Keep multi-material loads on separate products
    • Reissue from Bill History when the PDF is lost

    Contractor

    • Match sizes to the site indent
    • Show the homeowner what was billed at the yard
    • Ask for a duplicate when the first file never arrived

    Site / homeowner

    • Check length × width against what arrived
    • Keep a copy with project purchase records
    • Resolve inch disputes from printed sq ft, not memory

    Size maths

Feet and inches become sq ft without a side calculator

Pick feet+inches, inch, cm, or m. Length × width gives sq ft per piece; quantity multiplies the line. Rate per sq ft builds the amount. That is the product decision that stops yard-vs-site rounding fights.

    • Odd sizes such as 3 ft 7 in × 2 ft 4 in calculate on the form, not on scrap paper.
    • Price display can show or hide rates when you need a measurement summary without publishing every rupee per sq ft.

    After dispatch

Keep measurement bills ready when the site calls back

Once the truck leaves, the job is a clean archive and a fast duplicate when contractor or homeowner asks again.

    Archive the same sizes

Bill History holds length, width, and sq ft so you do not rebuild odd cuts from memory weeks later.

    Keep materials separate

Flooring and countertop lines should stay apart in the record. One merged stone total hides which rate applied.

    Resend after a site dispute

Download again and share the same PDF. Arguments settle faster when both sides look at printed dimensions.

    FAQ

    Questions from the dealer yard

Size calc, mixed materials, rate display, and lost PDFs.

    How does size calculation work?

Pick feet+inches, inch, cm, or m. The form converts to square feet: length × width for sq ft per piece, then multiplies by quantity. Odd sizes such as 3 ft 7 in × 2 ft 4 in calculate without manual rounding fights.

Can one bill mix slabs and tiles?

Yes. Each product can hold its own sizes and rate. Add marble flooring and granite countertop as separate products so the PDF shows material, dimensions, and totals clearly.

Can I hide rates on the customer copy?

Yes. Price display mode can show or hide rates when you need a measurement summary without publishing every rupee per sq ft on that PDF.

What should I check before the truck leaves?

Dealer name, customer or site name, each material, length × width, quantity, rate per sq ft (if shown), and grand total. Wrong inches are the usual reason a site calls back.

The contractor lost the PDF. Can I send it again?

Yes. Reopen from Bill History when signed in, download again, and share the same measurements and totals. Avoid rebuilding slab sizes from memory after dispatch.

Is the receipt available as PDF or image?

Yes. Download PDF for a clean file, or download image when someone needs a quick share. Print or send from the file you save.

Do I need a subscription to download marble bills?

Your first bill is free after sign-up. After that, pay ₹10 per download or get unlimited downloads with ₹99 per month or ₹499 for a year. No auto-renewal. See the pricing page for current rates.
